Narrative Illustration
Or comic books, if I'm being a little less pretentious..

I've loved comics since I was a kid. When I was a teenager it was superheroes - the bright colors, dynamic artwork and escapist storylines thrilled me (and if we're being honest, on some level they still do). Since my early twenties, however, I've become more fascinated by what comics are capable of - comics like Maus, Sandman, Watchmen and others showed me a new world.

For several years I left comics behind me, pursuing other interests - but always they've been in the back of my mind, haunting me. Recently I returned to illustration in general, and as always the hunger to work on an illustrated narrative has risen up. Hopefully in the near future you'll see more narrative work from me.
